Wildman Steve Brill leads an early spring foraging tour of Central Park, beginning at W. 103rd St. and Central Park West.

Wild green are in season, and herbivores might be surprised at the large quantities of wild leafy vegetables sprouting all over the park. Spicy mustard greens, such as poor man's pepper, hedge mustard, and garlic mustard may pop up on lawns and along pathways anywhere. Daylily shoots are at their peak. Plus, wild mushrooms - including gourmet dryad's saddle, tree ears, mica cap, or oyster mushrooms - might make an appearance on this tour.
