Musicians can heighten the emotional power of protest through the art of outright noise. Contribute to the cacophony, or just stop by to watch!

Ideal instruments are portable and loud enough to be heard without amplification. Brass, woodwinds, percussion (from all global traditions and styles); also accordion, bagpipe, banjo...or you tell us. (Sorry, but strings, voices, and non-portable instruments are not likely to work.)

Meet in the North Plaza of Union Square Park (at 17th Street) at 1pm; there will be instructions for participation and accessible improvisation techniques.
