Head to Lock 60 at Schuylkill Canal Park for a guided walk led by the Schuylkill Canal Association’s Dave Williams. Participants learn about faults and fossils during this moderately difficult 1.5 hour hike.

It is important to note that this event is weather permitting. The hike is approximately 90 minutes and includes hiking up the first ravine, up a steep hill, along the bluffs, then down a narrow trail, and back to Lock 60 along the Schuylkill River. Be sure to meet at Locktender’s House. Children who are 8 and up can participate with adult supervision.
