Anthony’s Italian Coffee & Chocolate House hosts Philadelphia’s Largest National Coffee Day celebration with an all-day fundraising effort to support children with dyslexia, a learning disability impacting 20% of the population. This all-day event compliments the company’s year-long efforts to celebrate reading literacy through their “Coffee for a Cause 2018” initiative.

This initiative provides access to nearly 100,000 audiobooks via Learning Ally, a non-profit organization, to children with dyslexia. The all-day, rain or shine, event culminates with the first ever Spaghetti Dinner on the Italian Market, a collaborative effort bringing the business district & neighborhood communities together.

The party begins at 7 AM at Anthony’s Italian Coffee & Chocolate House with free cups of coffee provided to all with a minimal donation of $1 to Learning Ally. 100% of all donations collected will be presented to Learning Ally to support Children with Dyslexia.

Additionally, the company will donate 20% of all sales for the entire day to Learning Ally to honor the 20% of the population with dyslexia. Local celebrities join the efforts as guest baristas throughout the day with additional opportunities to raise funds through raffles of donated premium items, enhancing the efforts to support children with dyslexia.
