16th Annual Pumpkin Festival
The 16th Annual Pumpkin Festival, sponsored by the Office of the Mayor and the Parks and Recreation Department, will be held on the town green. Decorated pumpkins will be displayed around the Green for judging and everyone's enjoyment.
Join in the Halloween spirit and carve or decorate a pumpkin for prizes! Plans for this year are still in the works, but in the past, the festival has featured a haunted hayride, dancing, a haunted house, and craft and food vendors. And don't forget to join in the vehicle pumpkin parade. Vehicles will line up on Chandler Drive, and follow the Headless Horseman down Route 69 toward the center of Town, up Center Street and through the Pumpkin Festival. The parade will start right at 5:45 p.m., so get a spot early in the line up.
