Support The Salvation Army of Greater Houston at its Christmas in July 5k! Maybe if we pretend it's December it won't feel as disgustingly hot outside. 

The event includes a 5k run and walk for participants of all levels and the Fa La La KidsK for ages 13 and under. Participants receive a festive shirt, finisher's medal, and there is food available after the race. (If you need more encouragement, there is Christmas music playing the entire time you're running.)
