Visiting the Christmas Children’s Story at Hicks Nurseries has been a family tradition on Long Island for generations. The walk-through Christmas story features Santa, his elves, and friends preparing for the holiday.

Admission is free, but they are seeking donations of non-perishable food items for Long Island Cares.

Monday-Friday: 1pm-4pm and 5pm-8pm. Weekends 10am-1pm and 2pm-6pm Meet Santa at Hicks throughout December as well. Note: Make sure to bring your own camera for pictures. 

Mail a letter to Santa and get a reply: Mailboxes available in-store November 16 – December 20. One is located at the end of the children’s story walkthrough experience and another by our pictures with Santa area. Note: include a self-addressed stamped envelope to receive a reply from Santa himself.

Weekends November 25 - December 15, there's live music via a brass band and chorus groups.
