Natasha Mirny, performer and teaching artist, leads an immersive storytelling experience that invites children to become part of the enchanting tale of The Snow Maiden and Grandfather Frost, magical characters from Russian folklore.

The virtual storytime also invites families to explore some treasures from Hillwood’s art collection in Washington, DC, including the magnificent painting, A Boyar Wedding Feast.

Have a scarf, bandana, or other piece of material, and a paper or plastic cup nearby as props to participate in the story.

Suggested for children ages eight and under with their grownups, but all ages are welcome. Register in advance.
