Summer Comedy Camp
- see all dates
Now in its 10th year, Comedy Camp has returned to the Broadway Comedy Club, Times Square, NYC. Kids and teens ages 7-17 take improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy classes, play games, and turn stories of personal experiences and observations into original comedy routines. Campers can sign up for a single week or the full camp season.
Drop off campers as early as 8:45am. Morning warm-ups start at 9:30am, followed by improv comedy. This year campers bring their own lunches. Afternoons focus on stand-up and sketch comedy. Daily bonus activities include watching a professional show, playing bonding games like Mafia, Werewolf, and others, plus open mic practice performances. Pick up as late as 5pm. Teens with parental approval can self-dismiss at 4pm. Every week ends with a showcase for invited guests at the club.
New elective option this year for teens: Content Creators Intensive. Participants learn to write, perform, and edit original content for platforms such as TikTok.
Editor's Note: We've tried it, and our take is Improv4Kids offers a supportive environment for kids to build confidence and have fun learning improv skills. Whether kids just want to try something new or are budding Seinfelds, this camp is a great place to start. Plus, seeing your kids perform on a real comedy club stage is pretty cool!
To register for camp, select the Monday of your selected week in the date picker below, and the total number of weeks you'd like to book or a special 4-week discount price. After checkout, you'll receive a confirmation email, and the provider will reach out.
