The US Navy, US Marine Corps, and US Coast Guard's celebration of sea services returns to New York City for the first time in two years.

Tour ships, watch the Parade of Ships, enjoy exhibits, military band concerts, and aviation events throughout the week.

The parade of ships floats past the Statue of Liberty, Fort Hamilton, and One World Trade Center from 6am to 8am Wednesday morning, May 25, and is scheduled to include:

  • USS Bataan (LHD-5) an Amphibious assault ship from Norfolk, Virginia 
  • USS Milwaukee (LCS-5) a freedom-class littoral combat ship from Mayport, Florida
  • HMS Protector (A173), United Kingdom
  • U.S. Naval Academy Yard Patrol Craft from Annapolis, Maryland
  • USCGC Dependable, a medium endurance cutter from Virginia Beach, Virginia
  • USCGC Sycamore, a seagoing buoy tender from Newport, Rhode Island

The ships can be seen along the Hudson River from Battery Park to just south of the George Washington Bridge. Fort Hamilton is scheduled to conduct an 11-gun salute to the flagship, USS Bataan, as the ship passes by.

At the Intrepid Museum, Fleet Week activities kick off Friday, May 27 with a screening of Crimson Tide on the flight deck. Throughout the weekend, explore a variety of displays, activities and demos from the military, including the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, and even some antique military vehicles. The weekend concludes on Monday, May 30, with the Museum’s annual Memorial Day ceremony.
