Queens County Farm Museum and the Museum of the Moving Image have partnered for the first time to create the Earth Day Bee A Pollinator Program.

Earth Day 2019 is on Monday, April 22 during NYC Department of Education's Spring Break. The museums invite soon-to-be environmentalists and their grown-ups out to Queens Farm for an afternoon to celebrate Earth Day.

The program includes kids' crafts (beeswax candle-making and make-your-own seed balls), bee talks in the apiary, and guided tours of the farm and historic house. Admission includes a 10% off coupon in the Farm Store. Popcorn and refreshments will be available for sale, as well as tickets for a tractor-drawn hayride and fresh alfalfa to feed the goats.
