InterSchool Orchestras partners with the New York Chinese Cultural Center to present an exciting combination of Chinese music and dance.

The orchestra, consisting of middle school students and conducted by Joseph Meyers, will premier Huang Ruo’s “3 Stanzas of Plum Blossoms” alongside other works by Wang, Curnow, Thomas, Short, and Osentowski. As part of this Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, young performers will present  traditional Chinese dances in costume. The concerts will take place at Long Island University’s Kumble Theater at 6:30 and 8:30 pm.
