What do you get when you merge farming with technology? Skip the outdoors and the soil. Grab water, a computer, and head indoors to grow your produce exactly as crunchy or spicy as you like.

Bowery Farming's Head of Agricultural Science, Susan MacIsaac, teaches tweens about this new technology and its potential to feed a growing population while using 95% less water and yielding 100x more than traditional agriculture. Students create their own mini hydroponic farms in a bottle to take home.

Note: This program involves interaction with various produce, including taste-testing of Bowery Farming products.

Advance registration required.

And don't miss the City of Science fun in Washington Square Park!
