This spring recess, MoMI will present daily screenings of the action-packed Wallace & Gromit film The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, featuring the beloved duo chasing rabbits and trying to solve the case of the missing vegetables. Families are also invited to participate in an array of green-themed activities relating to springtime and to celebrate Earth Day: performing in front of a green-screen, making claymation movies and characters inspired by Were-Rabbit, and creating flowers and plants from recyclable objects to add to the “MoMI Garden.”

In addition, on Saturday, April 20, leading up to Earth Day, MoMI is partnering with WNET to present family-focused environmental screenings and workshops. From 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., families can see the award-winning PBS Kids series Cyberchase in English and Spanish; then from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., children and their caregivers can explore STEM-related activities in the Museum’s Moving Image Studio drop-in workshop.
