Celebrate Rosie the Riveter for Women’s History Month in partnership with Drag Queen Story Hour.

Hear stories and listen to oral histories from women who worked at the Brooklyn Navy Yard during World War II. Just like Rosie the Riveter, visitors will make boats.  Using recycled materials, families will design vessels to be powered by masts, sails, or engines. The program will also highlight National Grid’s outreach programs that teach about the history and future of gas as a clean energy source.
