In this one-time-only Tenement Museum event, author Emily Jenkins reads All-of-a-Kind Family Hanukkah, her story of Ella, Gertie, Henny, Sarah, and Charlotte and their holiday adventure.

During this two-hour event, kids:

  • Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes ‘inspiration tour’ of a 97 Orchard Street apartment, with author Emily Jenkins
  • Use and explore objects from 1916 and make art inspired by objects past and present
  • Taste and learn about Hanukkah treats from Lower East Side history
  • Hear Emily Jenkins read All-of-a-Kind Family Hanukkah

A book sale and signing follows the reading.
