The Met Reopens
The Metropolitan Museum of Art plans to reopen following a four-month closure by debuting its 150th anniversary exhibition, entitled Making the Met: 1870-2020. Also on view is Jacob Lawrence: The American Struggle. A new roof garden commission from Héctor Zamora also debuts.
The Met is open five days a week, Thursday through Monday. On Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, it is open from 10am-5pm. The Museum offers later hours on Thursdays and Fridays, noon-7pm. The Met Cloisters opens in September.
