Step inside Bartow-Pell’s authentically fabricated Northeast Woodlands wigwam for this educational Saturday morning program on the Lenape culture and lifestyle. Attendees take seats on stumps to learn about shelter, clothing, food, language, and music from a museum educator.

Participants also have the opportunity to view artifacts from the museum’s teaching collection, search for animal tracks, and discuss the treaty that took place under the forest canopy 366 years ago between the Lenape Chiefs and Thomas Pell of Fairfield, Connecticut.

CDC-recommended face coverings are required for all visitors and staff at all times. Social distancing is required at all times.
