Repeating every days through November 8, 2020.
10:00am to 1:00pm ET
Age: 4 and up
Price: Free with park admission
Location:
Wave Hill

In this workshop at Wave Hill, children take a close look at the wilderness that lives in and among us—even in the most urban of landscapes— then learn techniques to craft puppets from upcycled and natural materials.

The program takes place outdoors. Dress appropriately for the weather. Rain cancels.

  • Please, have your masks on when you arrive, and be prepared to respect physical distancing throughout your stay.
  • The location is the Conifer Slope, just to the right of Wave Hill House. Please enter from the roadway that runs along the front of Wave Hill House and to the lawn leading down to the Conifer Slope. Staff will greet you there!
  • The number of families able to participate at any given time is limited to about five. If you arrive and capacity is full, program staff will provide a “come back” card so you will have first entry for the next session.

Note: Please keep your family and others safe by always wearing masks and maintaining social distancing measures. If an event appears too crowded, try using the “nearby” search feature on our event calendar to find something else to do.
