Honor Remembrance Day for Lost Species by creating story mobiles that memorialize what we have lost in our lives and beyond. Weave these stories with hopeful futures by knotting illustrations together. A song circle completes the program.

The program takes place outdoors. Dress appropriately for the weather. Rain cancels.

  • Please, have your masks on when you arrive, and be prepared to respect physical distancing throughout your stay.
  • The location is the Conifer Slope, just to the right of Wave Hill House. Please enter from the roadway that runs along the front of Wave Hill House and the lawn leading down to the Conifer Slope. Staff greets you there!
  • The number of families able to participate at any given time is limited to about five. If you arrive and the capacity is full, program staff will provide a “come back” card so you will have the first entry for the next session.

** Please keep your family and others safe by wearing masks and social distancing. If an activity appears too crowded, try using the "nearby" search feature on our activity calendar to find something else to do.
