Hear firsthand from the waterfront heroes themselves at a storytelling event featuring Samir Farag, founder of the Museum of Maritime Navigation & Communication in Staten Island, Waterfront Museum founder David Sharps, and Long Island South Shore bay house owner Jason McNeece. Get an insider’s glimpse into the working waterfront and maritime heritage and participate in a lively Q&A moderated by folklorist Naomi Sturm and Long Island Traditions Executive Director Nancy Solomon. Light refreshments are served.
