Join the Urban Park Rangers for a light winter walk in Van Cortlandt Park and be on the lookout for "lovebirds." The program ends at the Nature Center, where participants can build their own nature valentines.

Please note: Outdoor programs are offered with limited attendance so that you can have a safe and enjoyable time in parks. Based on New York State guidance for sports and recreation during COVID-19, protocols are in place to keep participants and staff safe and healthy:

  • Stay home if you're sick
  • Maintain six feet of physical distance between households
  • Wear a face covering
  • Wash your hands

Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer to park programs.
