The National Museum of the American Indian hosts art activities, book readings, and signings, as well as meet-and-greets with authors Traci Sorell (Cherokee Nation) and Kevin Noble Maillard (Seminole Nation).
Sorell writes award-winning fiction and non-fiction books as well as poems for children, and Noble Maillard reads from his debut book Fry Bread, illustrated by Juana Martinez-Neal.
