Children with disabilities and their families are invited to join in Downtown for an evening of free family fun. Discover the museum while it is closed to the public and participate in special transit-themed activities led by museum educators.

During this Special Evening for Special Kids, explore the sights and sounds of train travel. Create your own paper bell inspired by the bells of our elevated train cars in an art workshop, design toy train tracks in different shapes, and dance and listen to music about transportation and NYC.

Light snacks will be offered, and a chill-out room will be available for anyone who’d like a break.
