Self Help Graphics Día de los Muertos Virtual Celebration, Featuring Noche de Ofrenda
Self Help Graphics' 47th annual traditional Noche de Ofrenda ceremony is a program of reflection and remembrance honoring the dead. For the first time, the program is presented virtually, featuring a variety of LA performers.
Performers include Ceci Bastida, Tropa Magica, and Katzù Oso, and Danza Divina de Los Angeles. The celebration features artists and community partners such as National Endowment for the Arts Fellow, Ofelia Esparza and Grand Park for Noche de Ofrenda; and the sights and sounds from SHG’s cultural center and neighborhood, to the heart of peoples’ homes, in what will be Self Help Graphics’ first ever virtual celebration.
The online showcase streams on Self Help Graphic’s YouTube channel.
