The solar system is home to the sun, several major planets, dwarf planets, moons, asteroids and comets. But how far apart is everything? Build a simple scale model of the distances between the planets, the asteroid belt, and the Kuiper belt. 

Materials needed include scissors, two pieces of plain paper, a pencil, a ruler, markers or crayons, and an adult to help you. This program is part of #NMOAatHome. Registration is required.
