The Neighborhood Movie Nights program at St. Paul’s Chapel returns with a focus on sports. March, April and May’s movies feature stories rooted in real events with athletes who broke barriers, while fictional longshots who defied the odds highlight the movies of September, October, and November.

All films are rated PG. Doors open at 6:30 PM; movies play at 7 PM. Admission and snacks are free.

Spring (Groundbreakers)

March 23 - Remember the Titans, with an introduction by director Boaz Yakin. Starring Denzel Washington, Will Patton, Wood Harris (2000, PG) The evening begins with a showing of the 1929 short cartoon classic, Mickey Mouse – When the Cat’s Away, featuring organ improvisation by James Kennerley.

April 20 - A League of Their Own: Tom Hanks, Geena Davis (1992, PG)

May 11 - Cool Runnings: John Candy, Leon, Doug E. Doug (1993, PG)
