Music in the "Classroom" with Laurie Berkner
Remember when we all got that training on how to homeschool our kids, particularly in music? Yeah, me neither. Luckily, legendary children's musician Laurie Berkner is coming to our rescue with Music in the "Classroom," a one-hour, live-streamed seminar using her songs in educational play or structured learning at home.
Laurie addresses both virtual teachers and in-person caregivers.
Using six of her original songs, Laurie Berkner presents tips for actively engaging kids with melody and rhythm by using their voices, bodies, percussion instruments and other props. Laurie also shares ideas for developing gross and fine motor skills through movement and finger play. She devote time to lullabies and "special use" or holiday songs.
