Morris Jumel Mansion Educator Jessica Colon hosts a live family program via Zoom on how to make your own self-watering planter from home.

Materials:

  • Potting soil (available at the hardware store)
  • Plastic soda bottle
  • String or a shoelace
  • Safety scissors
  • Flower or vegetable seeds (available at CVS or hardware store)
  • Hammer and screwdriver (Ask an adult to help you with these.)
