Lego Maritime Festival
- see all dates
Calling all Lego brick fans – the USS Constitution Museum presents its popular annual Lego Maritime Festival. Get ready to build throughout the February school vacation week with fun activities designed for all ages.
From competing in our annual Lego Ship Shape Competition to a Lego tour of USS Constitution, there is something for everyone in this week-long online and in-person event.
From 10am - 5pm each day, the museum theater is transformed into a Lego and Duplo shipyard, with thousands of bricks to choose, and tables and chairs to sit and build.
Lego Ship Shape Competition
There are two versions this year: a daily contest for visitors to the museum, and a week-long contest for those who build at home. The grand prize winners receive Ship-in-a-Bottle Lego kits.
Lego USS Constitution
Launched in 1797, USS Constitution was one of the original six ships of the United States Navy. Today, she can be viewed in the Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston, Ma., or enjoyed in Lego form with step-by-step directions created by the USS Constitution Museum.
In accordance with the City of Boston’s B Together Initiative, all visitors to the Museum must wear a face mask, and proof of vaccination for some is required.
