Join in this October at Spoke the Hub's newly opened Gowanus Arts Annex for an Oktoberfest Celebration featuring hands-on workshops for kids.

Saturday & Sunday, October 5th & 6th,  2-5:00pm
Building Ramps and Skateboards
Use tools and reclaimed materials to make ramps, rails and other fun things to make fun obstacles for skateboards and scooters. An instructor will be on hand to help kids put their creations to the test. Bring your board and get ready to build.

Saturday & Sunday, October 12th & 13th,  2-5:00pm
Textile and Repurposed Fashion Workshop
Bring your old pants, shirts and fabrics. Kids will get creative, cutting apart used clothes and fabrics to design new and improved creations and clothing. They'll also make a set of props or furniture with reclaimed wood and textile to be used in the KoKo NYC Tiny House.

Saturday & Sunday, October 26th & 27th,  2-5:00pm
Come Paint the Tiny House
This Tiny House, built entirely by kids and teens, is still a wooden structure. Kids get to help choose the colors and the ideas for the outside as well as the inside. Come with clothes that can get dirty! On Sunday, finish it off by adding curtains and some furniture to host a tea party.
