KIDLIT Community Rally for Black Lives
At this time when people around the nation are hurting, Kwame Alexander, Jason Reynolds, and Jacqueline Woodson have organized Kidlit Rally for Black Lives, coming together to support kids in the community.
Additional participants include: Gene Luen Yang, Jerry Craft, Raul the Third, Renee Watson, Christopher Myers, K.A. Holt, Denene Millner Books, Nancy Paulsen Books and Versify Books.
The event is held in two parts.
The first session is directed towards young people.
(7pm - 7:45pm Eastern, 6pm - 6:45pm Central, 4pm - 4:45pm Pacific)
For the second portion, the discussion is geared towards parents, educators and librarians.
(7:45pm - 8:30pm Eastern, 6:45pm - 7:30pm Central, 4:45pm - 5:30pm Pacific)
