Jug’s World + Sanctuary Collage Workshop

Sat Sep 26, 2020
Various times
Age: All ages
Price: Free

In this family program, artist and storyteller Elise R. Peterson of Jug’s World encourages children to consider the relationships between themselves, nature, and the concept of home, inspired by the CAAM exhibition Sanctuary.

Participants gather everyday objects from home—as well as leaves, sticks, pods, petals, and other things found in nature—and transform them into a world of their own through collage.

RSVP for Zoom instructions.

Supplies:

  • Glue stick or any non-toxic glue
  • Scissors
  • Your favorite found objects in nature
  • Found objects from home that can be glued (magazines, newspapers, glitter, etc.)
  • Colored or white paper (if you have an empty canvas or another surface to collage on, feel free!)
  • Drawing tools (markers, crayons, etc.)
