David Walliams’s The Midnight Gang
- see all dates
Chichester Festival Theatre streams a production of David Walliams’s The Midnight Gang. This inventive tale of fun, friendship, and the importance of kindness is about a gang of children who each night escape from their hospital beds to make their dreams come true.
The show is adapted from David Walliams’s biggest-selling children’s book of 2016. (We've been loving his daily story readings!)
The Midnight Gang is free to watch on CFT’s website for 30 days, starting from 30 April, and is especially suitable for family audiences from ages 7 up.
David Walliams’s The Midnight Gang, adapted by Bryony Lavery with music and lyrics by Joe Stilgoe, premiered at Chichester Festival Theatre in 2018, directed by Dale Rooks.
To connect with as many people as possible in the community, the production is captioned for Deaf/deaf and hard of hearing audiences, and Polish-language captions are also be available. Audio introductions help set the scene for blind and partially sighted audiences.
The next production CFT streams will be Beauty and the Beast, starting May 21.
