Celebrate the end of the summer by bringing the whole entire family to enjoy live music and dance performances, art-making workshops, and the opportunity to learn more about this vibrant community.

Schedule:
1-5 pm  Family activities including face painting with dancing themes, story time, paper making station, and crochet and embroidery workshop.

2-3:30pm  Queensboro Dance Festival
This Queensboro Dance Festival performance will feature dance performances by Yamini Kalluri & Dwayne Beach; Sheep Meadow Dance Theater; Greek American Folklore Society; and Rogue Dancers. Performances will be followed by a mini dance workshop led by the Greek American Folklore Society.

3:30-4pm  Book reading“Bomba Portorriqueña” by Milteri Tucker and Dance Performance by Bombazo Kids
Milteri Tucker, Artistic Director of Bombazo Dance Company, presents Bomba Puertorriqueña, a colorful book telling the history of Puerto Rico’s oldest musical and dance genre of the island for children ages 2 and up, followed by a dance performance by Bombazo Kids.
