Cobble Hill Halloween Window Painting Day
Registration is open for the first annual Cobble Hill Halloween Window Painting Day. This is a spirited community event during which 50 local children can register to paint their own Halloween-themed window on Court Street.
Who: This event is currently open to children ages 6-12 living in the neighborhood between and including Atlantic Avenue to Union Street, Smith Street to Columbia Street. Kids can register as an individual or team of 2, and registration is on a first come basis.
WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 27th, 2018 at 9am. (Rain date of Sunday, Oct. 28th) Check in begins at 8:45am and painting should be wrapped up by 12:30pm. All windows will be professionally cleaned on or around Nov. 2.
WHERE: Each registered individual or team of two will be assigned a 3x2’ retail window lot on Court Street between Degraw St and Atlantic Avenue. Registrants will receive their assigned window location on event day at the registration desk (212 Court Street).
HOW: This event is made possible by the Cobble Hill Association, with support from Mason Lane Art Advisory, Biomonde Window Cleaners, and the generous retailers of Court Street who have kindly donated their window space.
