Bastille Day 2020! A Virtual Celebration of France
The French Cultural Center of Boston and Cambridge hosts a fun and educational virtual Bastille Day celebration, with speeches, a special apéro, contest winners, and more.
The event starts with speeches from Barbara Bouquegneau, Executive Director of the French Cultural Center, and Arnaud Mentré, Consul Général de France à Boston. Winners are then announced in two contests: photo contest (wear your most French clothes and accessories) and Marseillaise singing contest.
A special Bastille Day apéro follows! Guests can answer historical questions and learn some fun facts about the celebration of Bastille Day, and share memories about Le 14 Juillet.
To top of the event, guests can learn how to make a Bleu/Blanc/Rouge cocktail.
Participants are welcome to dress for the occasion.
Please register in advance, links to the celebration will be sent out an hour before the event.
6pm Eastern, 5pm Central, 3pm Pacific.
