Amazing Arthropods: Exploring With Spiders and Butterflies
Discovery Channel's Phil Torres hosts a free class about beautiful, bodacious butterflies.
We all know that butterflies are beautiful to look at, but Phil—who has traveled around the world following his favorite butterflies–has seen that they're so much more, too. This class explores why butterflies begin as caterpillars, how they drink the tears of other animals, which butterflies smell like chocolate and why and how to set up a garden to help them flourish.
All ages welcome, (best for grades 1-8).
7pm Eastern, 6pm Central, 4pm Pacific
