Little Tokyo's Japanese American National Museum celebrates the Year of the Ox with its annual Oshogatsu Family Festival, this year presented virtually.
The celebration expands to a week, with virtual, kid-friendly activities to celebrate the new year.
Ongoing activities include a Year of the Ox Scavenger Hunt (completed by exploring one's own neighborhood and the Museum's website), a Year of the Ox coloring activity, and an Oshogatsu Community Photo Activity.
Scheduled activities include storytime, a behind-the-scenes video tour, a a virtual performance of Question 27, Question 28, (RSVP required) and a conversation around traditional Oshogatsu food. (See website for links and details).
