Walk With Amal
Meet on the rooftop of Brooklyn Children’s Museum as giant puppet Amal joins children of all ages and backgrounds to weave a huge web of yarn as part of a workshop led by artist Natalia Nakazawa.
Kids can share stories about where they come from and their dreams of where they hope to go while adding to the collective weaving.
Purchase timed tickets online, in advance.
After the Children's Museum visit, Amal heads to Bed Stuy, where she's led through streets filled with the music of drummers and guided to Restoration Plaza, where the neighborhood throws her a party.
