The Machine that Breaks Time Scavenger Hunt
Do you want a chance to win $20,000? Game Lab is partnering with Park Slope author Darnis Krice for an amazing treasure hunt in Prospect Park, and you can join the quest.
Two-thousand free copies of The Machine that Breaks Time will be handed out in front of Brooklyn Game Lab at 310 7th Ave in Park Slope, Brooklyn, on Saturday, May 15th, starting at 9am. (If you can’t get to Park Slope to pick up a free copy, you can order one to be shipped to you).
Read the book, sign up to receive email clues, and then head to Prospect Park to try your luck at finding the treasure. The first set of clues will be revealed via email on Sunday, May 16, at 12pm. The second set of clues will be revealed via email on Saturday, May 22, at 8am. The third set of clues will be revealed via email on Saturday, May 29, at 8am.
Some clues rely solely on knowledge of The Machine That Breaks Time. Others, your knowledge of the park. Some require considerable puzzle-solving abilities. Some, just a keen eye. On your mark...
Note: Kids are welcome to participate with adults, but this is primarily FOR adults (and really smart teens). Reading the book and figuring out the info therein is complicated stuff.
