Lincoln Center’s fourth annual Summer for the City begins, welcoming all New Yorkers and visitors from around the world to a season grounded in the city’s global cultural traditions, innovative spirit, and a deep sense of community.

The opening day schedule includes:

8am – The Dance Floor opens to the public, Josie Robertson Plaza (JRP)

11am – Music Storytime with LaFrae Sci, Karen and Richard LeFrak Lobby, David Geffen Hall

1pm – Music Storytime #2 with LaFrae Sci, Karen and Richard LeFrak Lobby, David Geffen Hall

6pm – Pop Up: Step it Up NYC dance performance, The Dance Floor on JRP

7:30pm – Robert Glasper + Alain Pérez opening concert, Damrosch Park

8pm – Silent Disco with DJ CherishTheLuv, The Dance Floor opening night, Josie Robertson Plaza
