Families are invited to NYC's oldest house for an outdoor celebration packed with craft activities, a tree lighting, and a special visit from St. Nick (who arrives on horseback around 2:30pm). Kids can sip hot cider, try some colonial games, create a holiday craft, and dress the tree.  

Schedule:

2pm | Grounds open with crafts and activities
2:30 | St. Nicholas arrives on horseback, meet the horses
3pm | Story time with St. Nicholas: The Bakers Dozen
3:15-4pm | Sign the Red Book and take photos with St. Nick
4pm | Tree decorating and lighting

What to expect on your visit:

  • Dress warmly as all activities take place outdoors in the park.
  • Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Walk-ups will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis, capacity permitting.
  • Use the restroom before your arrival. There are only two port-o-sans on the property.
