Learn all about the Billion Oyster Project through a variety of engaging oyster and maritime-themed "sporting events." It’s a fantastic opportunity for friendly competition, hands-on learning, and quality time with loved ones—and a chance to win Gold, Silver, or Bronze oyster medals!   

'Sporting events' inspired by Olympic events include:

• Track and Field: Tri-Stack-a-Thon – A relay race where participants showcase their oyster restoration skills by building one of the super tray structures thats used in oyster volunteer and field work!
• Rowing: Paper Dory Boat Building – Test your crafting skills by creating and launching your own miniature boat out of paper. Test to see how much weight your boat can carry to win a prize!
• Football / Soccer: Oyster Spat Tag – Engage in a tag/Red Rover hybrid game where you become oysters, avoiding predators and munching on algae as you race to the reef!
• Archery: Oyster-Themed Cornhole – Enjoy a classic game with a nautical twist.

Crafting activities are also available.
