In-person for the first time since 2019, Morningside Lights returns, illuminating the night in a procession of awe-inspiring handmade lanterns floating through Morningside Park to Columbia's campus.

The free neighborhood tradition includes a week of community arts workshops prior to the procession to create the "reimagined monuments."

Daily Lantern-Building Workshops: Sept. 17-23

Illuminated Procession: Saturday, September 24, 8pm.
Begins in Morningside Park (116th St. and Morningside Ave.)
