Council Member Gale Brewer’s Make Music New York concert features Life of Drums, a percussion-based samba performance pulsing with the rhythms of Rio de Janeiro's carnival presented by Symphony Space (at 4 pm), the dynamic vocals of Julia Danielle Jazz Quartet presented by Lincoln Center & Hire Juilliard Performers (at 5 pm), and a pitch-perfect program by students from Kaufman Music Center and Special Music School (at 6 pm).
