Mad Fun Farm Garden Volunteer Session
Help spruce up the gardens for spring. Garden maintenance activities include repairing raised beds, shoveling topsoil, picking up trash, weeding, and more. Dress in layers and bring a water bottle. Activities vary.
Meet at 1775 Third Avenue at 98th Street and Third Avenue just east of the flag pole within Washington Houses. If you arrive after the start time for this event, meet in the gardens just south of the flag pole between 98th and 97th Streets and Third and Second Avenues.
Please wear comfortable clothes, proper footwear, preferably work boots or sturdy sneakers, and bring a reusable water bottle. Food is not provided, so bring a bagged lunch or order from one of East Harlem's amazing local eateries. The event will take place rain or shine so please dress for the weather.
