Kids Week returns to Bryant Park's Winter Village with free skating lessons, music, crafts, and more.

From 9:30am-11:20am, kids rule The Rink! Family-favorite music plays on the ice, and skate aids are free to use during this session. Reserve rink time in advance, online.

The fun continues off the ice with themed activities and workshops each day from 9:30am-noon.

Tuesday -Transportation Day:
Scoot, zoom, and chug along at Bryant Park and explore how people and things travel from one place to the next. Navigate around the deck on scooter boards, float boats in the fountain, grab a seat on a play pretend train, and be sure to visit Overlook for songs and crafts led by Ben Bryden and The Redbirds Band.

Sing-song-craft-a-long
10am-noon in Overlook
The Redbirds draw upon decades of teaching artist experience to bring the magic of transit to life through sound, science, sign language and sing-along! To enter Overlook, the second-story indoor pavilion looking over the rink, find the staircase near the southeast corner of the rink. Outdoor, unattended stroller parking is available nearby.

Scooter Board Jam
9:30am-noon on the eastern grey deck
Hop on a scooter board and wiggle your way through a scooter course. Be sure to watch out for other scooter riders and follow all traffic signs!

Float your Boat
9:30a-noon at the fountain
Learn to fold paper and make your own origami boat. Then, bring your prototype over to the fountain and let it set sail! Experiment with different types of paper and folds to make the best float.

Play Pretend Train
9:30am-noon on the NW corner of the rink deck
Climb in and hop aboard the Winter Express! Use your imagination to bring the play structure to life.

Wednesday - Prehistoric Park
Calling all cave kids for a Jurassic adventure like no other! Take a journey to a land before time with dino-mic crafts and Stone Age fun, from braving volcanic explosions to getting up close and personal with the not-so-distant past, with the help of paleontologist, Dr. Bolortsetseg Minjin.

Exploding Volcanos
9:30am-noon on the Fountain Terrace
Dare to venture on a new frontier as you paint your own volcano. Once your masterpiece is complete, just add vinegar to watch it explode!

Stegosaurus Hats
9:30am-noon at Le Carrousel
Get ready to roar and explore by making a stegosaurus hat.

Primeval Play
10am-noon on the eastern grey deck
Tell a story at the collection of caves by creating an original mural.

Beyond the Bones with Bolortsetseg Minjin, PhD.
10:30am-11:15am in Overlook
Hear about exciting excavation discoveries and the beginnings of age-old creatures from Bolortsetseg Minjin, award-winning paleontologist and educator. To enter Overlook, the second-story indoor pavilion looking over the rink, find the staircase near the southeast corner of the rink. Outdoor, unattended stroller parking is available nearby.

Thursday - Move and Groove
Jump, bop, and dance during aa morning dedicated to movement. Warm up with Zing! Fitness class for kids, then hop into a dance class taught by Cumbe. Find a big parachute, crafts, and hula hoops all along the blue deck too.

Winter Workout with Zing! Kids
10am – 12pm on the eastern grey deck
Zing! returns to lead a morning of fitness. Jump into one of their mini classes, complete the arctic obstacle course, and spin the wheel for an extra challenge.

African Dance with Cumbe
11am-11:45am at the Fountain Terrace
Try out a traditional Congolese dance workshop taught by Cumbe! Teaching artists help kids warm up their bodies and learn some new moves.

Friday - Nature Day

Sensory Bins
9:30am-noon in Overlook
Little hands can explore various garden-themed sensory bins.

Drop-in crafts: Pressed Flowers Lanterns
9:30am-noon in Overlook
Make a pattern out of pressed flowers, then seal them in wax paper and help transform them into a lantern to take home.
