Celebrate Juneteenth and honor Black history, achievement and resilience with an evening of performances, artmaking and more. Picnic on the Great Lawn and enjoy a tasty treat of specialty ice cream while supplies last, courtesy of Only Rare NYC. Decorate colorful plant pots inspired by stories of hope and liberation. The celebration culminates with engaging musical and dance performances that highlight the Black experience in the United States.

4:30pm - 7pm: Plant Pot Painting Station
5pm - 7pm: Complimentary rolled ice cream by Only Rare NYC
6pm: Musical performance by Bahati Barton from Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy
7pm: Dance performance by Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet

Picnicking permitted all evening on the Great Lawn. Bring your own or purchase specialty menu items from the Café, including kids meal options.
