Juneteenth Musical Jamboree
A musical jam session to celebrate Juneteenth! Decorate your own paper instrument and add to the festivities by playing a song of celebration; all the while learning about the annual celebrations held in Galveston Island, TX honoring this National holiday of freedom.

Artist Workshop: Juneteenth Zines with Lillian Young*
Explore Juneteenth with artist Lillian Young! Young’s series, Black Elder Archive, features a portrait of the “grandmother of Juneteenth," Opal Lee. Learn more about Lee through art, read-alouds and video, and then create zines with textured paper and markers.
